What is IFTA Mileage?

IFTA Mileage is a web app that helps commercial trucking fleets track mileage by state jurisdiction and generate quarterly IFTA reports. Drivers log trip legs (with odometer readings and fuel purchases) from their phone, and managers view summary reports and export CSVs for IFTA filing.

What is IFTA and who needs it?

The International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) is a multi-jurisdictional fuel tax agreement for commercial motor vehicles that operate across U.S. state or Canadian provincial borders. If your qualified motor vehicle (over 26,000 lbs GVWR, or 3+ axles) travels in two or more IFTA member jurisdictions, you are required to file quarterly IFTA returns.

How do drivers log trips?

Drivers open the app on their phone, tap "Log Trip", select their name and vehicle, enter the trip date and odometer readings, then add trip legs one by one. Each leg captures the from/to locations, miles in that state, and any fuel purchased. Receipts and other photos can be attached to each leg directly from the phone camera.

How does the IFTA report work?

The Reports page shows a quarterly breakdown of miles by state jurisdiction and fuel gallons purchased per state — exactly the format required for IFTA Schedule 1. You can export it as a CSV to upload to your base jurisdiction's IFTA portal or hand off to your accountant.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. The app is designed mobile-first for drivers. Large buttons and simple forms make it easy to log a trip in a few minutes on a phone or tablet. You can also install it to your home screen as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for quick access.

How many drivers and vehicles can I add?

The Fleet Pro plan supports up to 100 drivers and 100 vehicles. You can also have up to 10 management or admin staff accounts. Need more? Contact us and we'll find a solution.

How much does it cost?

Yes. New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start.

Can I export all my data?

Yes. You can export a CSV of all trip logs from the Logs page, and a jurisdiction-summary CSV from the Reports page — ready for IFTA filing. Contact support if you need a full data export in another format.

Is my data secure?

The app runs on Cloudflare's global network. All data is encrypted in transit. Photos are stored in Cloudflare's secure image infrastructure. Billing is handled by Stripe; we never store card numbers.

How do I cancel?

Open Billing in your account settings and use the Stripe customer portal to manage or cancel your subscription. Your data remains accessible until the end of your billing period.
