Getting Started With IFTA Mileage: Drivers, Vehicles, and Trip Logs

1. Add drivers and vehicles

Before logging trips, add your people under Drivers and your power units under Vehicles (from the app navigation). Trip forms select from these lists so data stays consistent.

2. Create a mileage log

Open Log New Trip from the Dashboard or navigation. Choose a driver, optional vehicle, trip date, and odometer readings if you use them. Notes can hold load or route context.

3. Review the log list

The Logs page shows all trips with status (for example draft or approved). Open any row to add trip legs, fuel, and supporting photos.

4. Organization settings

Under Settings you can label optional custom fields (such as DOT or MC numbers) so they match how your fleet already tracks compliance data.
